CSYO was founded by a group of young people as a non-political, non-profit, non-governmental organization in the city of Sumgait in 2006. The organization has vast experience working through non-formal education, concentrating on youth work, voluntarism, peace-building, social economy, active citizenship and participation. CSYO is also the Erasmus+ Youth and Europian Solidarity Corps INFO CENTER in Azerbaijan since 2019.
The main aim of the project is to empower volunteers to take actions towards a better environment, to actively participate in society, to enhance their professional & personal skills, and to raise awareness on environmental issues between young people & school children through the formation of green thinking and enhancement of civic responsibility.
POSSIBLE TASKS:
- Organizing training, summer camps, eco-tours, youth exchanges, workshops, seminars regarding environmental protection
- Working closely with schoolchildren within eco clubs by facilitating seminars and holding workshops
- Implementing campaigns to raise awareness of environmental issues
- Supporting the work of the CSYO as part of the "Green Thinking" team
